Introduction:
Looking to become a part of one of the fastest-growing industries in the country? Our recreational cannabis retail store is located in Pittsfield, MA. We provide a wide variety of high-quality cannabis products and top-notch customer service. The Dispensary Agent position sells marijuana in a Recreational Marijuana Dispensary. As the face of the company who interacts with customers throughout the day, we require excellent customer service skills, product knowledge, and an upbeat. Must be eligible to receive an agent registration card. Knowledge of the marijuana plant and the marijuana products we offer, like concentrates, edibles, topicals, and flower is required. A flexible schedule is required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up the dispensary on a daily basis by following the opening duties checklist, and close down by following the closing duties checklist.
- Greet customers with an enthusiastic and professional demeanor, and ascertain what each customer wants or needs. Spend time with each customer and listen to what they say before making recommendations.
- Educate customers by explaining the effects of a Sativa, an indica, or a hybrid and how different strains/types affect people differently.
- Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
- Research the lineage of the strains as well as any new strains that are coming to our store. Review our products daily and get to know them. Keep educating yourself in the industry in order to provide the best customer service.
- Use our Point-of-Sale system to ensure transactions and all other relevant information is recorded and tracked accurately.
- Compute daily sales limits, sales prices, and total purchases and receive and process cash or debit payments. -Computer, cash machines, cashless ATMs, and point-of-sale (POS) terminals are used to complete sales transactions.
- Research and maintain accurate and up-to-date information on state and local laws pertaining to recreational marijuana and dispensing recreational marijuana.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality at all times.
- Respond to customer complaints and comments by following the proper chain of command and updating management or your team leads on business performance, new initiatives, and other pertinent issues.
- Assist with product deliveries, product packaging, inventory management, inventory security, and cash security.
 

Employment Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license to prove you are at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to submit and pass a full background criminal check.
- Job requires having dependable transportation, excellent attendance, being reliable, responsible, and fulfilling job obligations. Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize.
- Courteous manner with customers and fellow staff members. Customer service experience preferred. Job requires working or acting together as a team member for a common purpose or benefit. This includes strong communication skills and being a team player.
- Job requires maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.
- Consistency of actions, procedures, methods, principles, expectations, and outcomes.
- Professional and Customer Service oriented.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to business needs.

- Ideally has knowledge of strains, genetics, edibles, and methods of ingestion.
 

Experience: Preferred at least 1 year in retail or 2 years in customer service
